Responsibilities

DreamWorks Animation is seeking a software engineer who is passionate about simulations to join its R&D Effects/Character Effects team. Our team creates tools to be used by artists to setup, groom, simulate, and render a variety of dynamic effects including cloth, hair, fur, skin, fluids, fire, clouds, fracturing, and explosions. This position will work closely with artists in animated film production to develop new algorithms and efficient workflow tools. The team integrates their new algorithms into industry standard third party effects & animation packages. Our team encourages publishing our work and presenting at industry conferences.
