Technical Sales Expert-Purify

Your role:

Acts as the partner to Account Managers in the sales process, bringing technical expertise to win a sale.  Has deep insight into the customer environment and pain points and is able to position solutions to those pains.  Works closely with Purify Field Marketing to develop the marketing strategy plan.

 

Responsibilities

1)Work in partnership with sales in customer interactions to position and present offerings.  Use ability to match customer pains with gains to aid the sales process

2)Use strong practical expertise of customer operational environment in specific application area to assist Sales, Field Marketing and other stakeholders to better understand the customer operational environment

3)Demonstrate strong technical product expertise focused on purify application area, and act as a technical information source in the sales process

4)Conduct in-depth process reviews, bringing real value to the customer operations

5)Have excellent competitive positioning knowledge and exploit this to assist Sales, Field Marketing and other Stakeholders to better understand competitive environment

6) Actively participate in the sales tactics development with Field Marketing Specialist and execution with Account managers.  Interface with MSAT at the correct stage in the sales process.  Support implementation of corporate initiatives and product cycle management in field (e.g. drive conversion, product adoption, product obsolesce etc)

7)Provide frequent and detailed input concerning the effectiveness of Strategy to the Field Marketing Specialists, both formally and informally

8)Be a resource for required technical trainings

9)Be open and exhibit a desire to develop.  Pro-actively interact with manager to propose areas for development and improvement

 

Who you are:

1)Master with 3~5 industry experience, or Bachelor with 5+ industry experience

2)Background in biopharmaceutical downstream process development

3)Experience in clarification, ultrafiltration, chromatography applications, and process optimization.  

4)Excellent communication skill, ability to engage the internal stakeholders and customers.

5)Flexible work time, travel at least 50%

6)Fluent in English (speaking, and writing)
