Job description
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Support communications and strategic marketing efforts for Medtronic Canada with a focus on social media, videography, web content, graphic design, and public relations.
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Social media strategy development and implementation
· Web content development and management, including copy development, editing, and management
· Videography, including production, filming, and editing, as well as photography
· Graphic design of corporate ads and other content to support corporate marketing
· Support public relations efforts for business units, including traditional (press releases, backgrounders, matt releases) and social media campaigns
· Support internal communications efforts, including event planning and coordination; philanthropy and community relations
· Support government relations efforts through letter writing to government officials
· Admin support, including creating POs and vendor relations
· Other duties as required

· Soutien administratif, incluant la création de bons d'achat et relations avec les fournisseurs

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Travel up to 20% of time

COMPÉTENCES DE BASE
FORMATION REQUISE
· Baccalauréat en communications
· Capacité d'effectuer la production, le tournage et le montage de vidéos à l'aide d’Adobe Premier
· Expérience de conception graphique, incluant Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat
· Français de niveau secondaire au minimum
EXPÉRIENCE PROFESSIONNELLE
· 2 à 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de communications dans un domaine de technologies médicales
· Production de 6+ vidéos se trouvant dans le domaine public
· Travaux de conception graphique publiés dans des médias nationaux et spécialisés
· Publication d'articles et de contenu dans les médias sociaux
APTITUDES ET COMPÉTENCES
· Personne indépendante avec esprit d'initiative
· Débrouillardise
· Capacité de collaborer avec divers intervenants à l'interne comme à l'externe
· Excellentes aptitudes de communication écrites et orales
· Maîtrise de la langue française considérée comme un atout (formation ultérieure exigée si la personne n'est pas bilingue)
EXIGENCES PHYSIQUES
· Voyager, jusqu'à 20 % du temps
· Capacité de s'asseoir à un bureau
