Europe Factory Network Supply Chain Manager F/M

Location: Aimargues (40km from Montpellier)

Based on Royal Canin (RC) Business long term objectives, the Europe Network Supply Operations manager is responsible for leading the Europe supply planning strategy from Europe Supply network to Markets across the 4 RC Regions for Finished goods and Packing materials. The jobholder coordinate all relevant activities with Factories, markets, regional & global team to insure supply planning completion.

Main Responsabilities

·  Lead and develop the supply plan from 1 – 24 months & act as Primary contact and decision maker for management of network needs and mid-term production plan:
·  From Europe RC Dry Factories (x4) & External factories (5)
·  To 50+ affiliate markets.
·  Implement & coordinate a customer centric Supply chain operating model (C-MOS) within factories and markets in order to insure a real time tracking&monitoring orders portfolio completion.
·  Lead Recovery & corrective actions plan with factories, markets, regional & global supply team on service issues in Supply by:
·  Providing analysis and options for decision
·  Coordinating relevant actions into a end to end Supply chain perspective
·  Participate to Europe Supply Management Review (SMR)
·  Insure that communication and actions are taken for supply, inventory, and service requirements
·  Set appropriate policies to manage shutdowns and demand variations to mitigate issues
·  Drive Inventory control of finished goods (RC Network & Co-manufacturers) & packaging to meet business needs & cash target.
·  Recruit, develop and engage at a Mars way a team to maximize performance on supply & capacity planning, external manufacturing and Packing materials supply activities.
·  Drive continuous improvement plan on all processes and Information Systems related to the Europe network supply operations perimeter.

Context & Scope

Driven by RC strategy & our customer centric ambitions, the jobholder is instrumental, at a med/long term level, to define & lead RC Europe supply strategy from facilities to affiliates.

At a short term’s, Acting as orchestra conductor into a close relationship with Commercial, Industrial engineer, Corporate, factory Supply chain and market team, the jobholder monitor supply plan, propose alternative supply scenario if requested.

He promote a lean & “excellence in every detail” mindset into his team and his stakeholders.

He will operate in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex & Ambigus) environment with major changes across Innovation plan, Business (e-commerce), Demand (Integrated planning solution deployment), Supply and Information Systems (ERP deployment).

Profile

Preferred qualification: Master/ Post Graduate Degree in Supply chain, Industrial engineer or Business administration.

Fluency in English

Valuable with APICS-CPIM / CPF degree or equivalent

>= 8+ years’ experience in Logistic management in a FMCG company.

People management experience.

Broad business knowledge with a track record of success in FMCG (partially/totally) equivalent roles

Systems knowledge: advanced skills using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, experience using office productivity software (such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
