Purpose of Role

The Category Modular Manager will coordinate all Walmart Store modular activities. The Modular Manager will work between Walmart Modular Planning and Mars Category Managers to execute the category strategy through modular implementation. The Modular Manager's primary goal will be to drive modular excellence for all Walmart stores, implementing category strategy and Mars Shopper Based Design merchandising principles. Along with modular excellence, the Category Modular Manager will work with the Category Advisor to provide category and shopper solutions to drive category growth through deep dive analytics and presentations. The mission is to provide unparalleled value to stakeholders becoming "First Choice in Category Leadership" by our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

·  2-5 years of Retail Link experience
·  Proficient in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
·  Ability to travel 25% of the time
·  2+ years experience in consumer products industry or with retail customer.
·  Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

·  Demonstrates knowledge of category management processes
·  Understanding of Walmart Modular process
·  Sales, Category Management or Supply Chain experience
·  Experience with Space Management Software (JDA)
·  Experience with Modular Automation
·  Experience with Panel and Scan Syndicated Data (IRI or Nielsen)
