Heavenly Spa is the branded Spa concept for Westin. The program expands on Westin's renewal positioning. We invite our guests to discover moments of beauty, happiness and peace during their travels with a variety of "Heavenly" products and sensory experiences.

Our Spa facilities include 10 spa treatment rooms, separate male & female relaxation areas, couples suite, dedicated men's & woman's changing areas including steam, sauna & Jacuzzi and a fully equipped gymnasium.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

· To maintain a high standard of hygiene within the spa area.

· To complete the daily checklist when opening and closing the spa.

· To be aware of the guest's needs and requirements.

· To be aware of all the services provided and offered, both in the Spa and Health Club, and of any promotions on offer at the time.

· To take responsibility of the treatment rooms and stock handling.

· To be able to handle guest complaints in a professional manner if required, reporting any incidents to the Manager.

· To have understanding of all the treatments on offer, and product knowledge.

· Provide consistent professional facial, beauty treatments, massage & body treatments in accordance with spa protocols.

· To ensure all treatments are carried out to the highest standard and targets are met.

· Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retails sales goals.

· To ensure all treatments are carried out to the highest standard and targets are met.

· To assist in the helping of others as part of a team.

· To liaise with the members of the club and assist if required.

· To have knowledge and understanding in the operation of the Health Club & Spa facilities, Sauna, Steam and Jacuzzi.

· To identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements in the work place immediately, report to the spa manager

· To help control operating costs within the department

· To check your area on a daily basis. To make sure that it is safe, clean and fit for guests use.

· To attend daily and weekly briefings.

· To be fully aware and work in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures, normal operating procedures and Emergency action plan for your department.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To move into this position you should have:

· High school diploma

· Diploma / certificate in beauty / spa therapy from an accredited institute

· with a minimum of one year course duration

· Cidesco, Cibtac, Itec or equivalent is preferred

· At least 1 year experience post qualification as a beauty / spa therapist, in a 5 star hotel preferred

· Certified qualification in the following treatments preferable:

§ Swedish Massage

§ Reflexology

§ Facial Treatments

§ Body treatments

§ Manicure

§ Pedicure

§ Waxing

· Pleasant personality, physically fit, sporty appearance

· Great people and communication skills with a high level of English,

· other language skills beneficial

· Knowledge of other beauty treatments & Thai massage - advantage

· Excellent knowledge in all aspects of Spa
