Lafrance Hospitality is searching to fill the opening of Assistant General Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott, North Conway.

Lafrance Hospitality is actively recruiting a passionate and energetic, individual to assist the General Manager in leading the hospitality team in all aspects of operating the hotel. This is a high profile position and requires a candidate with a successful and proven track record who is a dynamic leader and possesses strong interpersonal skills. The Assistant General Manager interacts with employees, ownership, the franchise, city officials and the public on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

·  Manage all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check in/check out), room availability, guest service standards and initiative, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.
·  Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.
·  Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
·  Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standard
·  Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns
·  The successful Assistant General Manager candidate should have the following work experience and skills:
·  Prior brand experience strongly preferred
·  At least 2-3 years hotel Front Desk experience
·  Detail oriented with emphasis on building guest relationships
·  Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Requirements:

The successful Assistant General Manager candidate should have the following work experience and skills:

·  Prior brand experience strongly preferred
·  At least 2-3 years hotel Front Desk experience
·  Detail oriented with emphasis on building guest relationships
·  Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
