Job Summary

Responsible for preparing billing and monthly statement to credit customers, reconciling credit card, cash and cheque receipts with accounts receivable, responding to credit customer (wholesales/tour agent/credit card) queries and handling of disputes and inquiries.

Transfer unsettled revenue from Front Office daily to City ledger for billing.

Manage the customers and ensure that the payments are received on a timely basis.

Prepare invoices/statements (according to customer's specification, if any) and mail to customers within 2 working days the revenue are generated.

Update receipt prepared by General Cashier on cash, credit card and cheque deposits.

Reconcile receipt from credit card and commission promptly.

Ensure timely closing of Accounts Receivable related journal, billing and receipts posting for month-end closing. (before 1 st of every month)

Print and send month-end statements together with receipt before 2 nd of every month and file all relevant documents accordingly.

General Responsibilities:

Fill in for Accounts Payable, Purchasing Officer and General Cashier during their absence.

Assist in the preparation and posting of month-end journal and monthly stock-take.

Participate in the preparation of budgets, re-forecasts and three month outlook.

Assist in monitoring of operating department's compliance to corporate and internal policies and procedures, and to recommend new policies and procedures where necessary.

Assist in monthly stock-take and inventory evaluation.

Specific tasks and improvement identified by Accountant / Financial Controller; inter-personal and communication skills to work closely with Associate and adopt an open communication with all related parties, and problem solving skills to make decision logically and confront problems encountered in matured manner.

Assist in areas as specified by Accountant / Financial Controller.

Maintain a sense of urgency with whatever task is required.

Attend and comprehend all information discussed at the briefing sessions. If unsure, ask questions until you are sure. Assist team members if they are having trouble comprehending as well.
