Summary

The prime purpose of this exciting role is the operation facilities responsibility for the M&S office and Data Centre at Stockley Park. Reporting to the Head of Workplace Services, you will have full responsibility for all facility related functions. This includes the delivery of exceptional customer services to the occupants and visitors to the site.

About the role

Your key accountabilities will include:

·  Sustain a working environment that is clean, safe and secure and that aligns with Smarter Working principles enabling the business areas to work effectively
·  Ensure high levels of customer service from themselves and teams ensuring that any customer complaints or issues are dealt with and responded to effectively
·  Work with the space and systems manager to ensure effective management of space
·  Manage contractors to effectively deliver hard and soft building services including cleaning, hospitality, catering and maintenance, ensuring that requisite statutory legislation and industry guidelines are rigorously adhered to at all times
·  Manage own and contract teams to deliver a high-quality service to meet agreed KPIs and SLAs
·  Ensure the effective use of all Workplace Services IT systems
·  Ensure all OPEX & CAPEX spend is managed within budgets allocated
·  Engage regularly with landlord Estate Management and attend the Tenants Forum Meetings representing M&S’s best interests
·  Ensure that all service changes, disruptions are effectively communicated via established M&S channels
·  Deliver the emergency, business continuity and fire safety plans for building ensuring effective management of site emergency situations and the execution of the evacuation exercises
·  Work closely with the Fire Health & Safety and Security teams to maintain a safe, secure, compliant building
·  Ensure the accurate and timely provision of all workplace services contractual and non-contractual KPI data to drive improved performance
·  Represent the Head of Workplace Services when required

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

·  Minimum 3 years’ experience in the facilities management industry at building management level
·  Experience of managing internal and contract teams
·  Knowledge and qualification in fire, health & safety and legal compliance
·  Budget and Contract/SLA management experience
·  Strong organisational skills and outstanding customer service skills
·  Good written and verbal communication skills
·  Ability to remain calm under pressure
·  IT skills to use Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Skype for Business
