Future of Waste (FOW) is a MakeSense program created to engage citizens and support social entrepreneurs in waste prevention, collection, upcycling and recycling. We bring concrete solutions to social and environmental entrepreneurs, through creative workshops, do-it-together workshops, networking and promotion events. We organized since 2014 more than 300 events in 23 cities around the world.
Your role will be to co-create and share tools, knowledge, and enthusiasm with the FOW community, in order to help solve the challenges of social and environmental entrepreneurs. More than any skills, we're looking for someone passionate about Waste Issues, and who wants to make it easier for community members to connect and grow their impact, both online & offline. While in training and learning new things throughout your internship, you will be in charge of :
Recruiting, training and motivating citizens to take action worldwide
Creating, monitoring and curating contents about waste, social and environmental entrepreneurship, circular economy worldwide, all of this through extensive online community management
Coordinating conferences, workshops and networking event
Meet entrepreneurs and make them publish their challenges on our platform

Profil recherché
Knowledge & Skills
You are fluent in English and French
You are passionate and curious about sustainable development, waste prevention, upcycling and recycling and have a good understanding of the sector worldwide
You like to work in a team and within lean organizations
You can handle simultaneous projects through good prioritization and proper planning
You are open-minded and able to learn fast which unables you to adapt to new audiences, regions and sectors
You are interested in innovation, and its methods, tools, and ecosystems
You are willing to create interesting and attractive contents on social media
You have mobilized people to follow you in your projects / initiatives
You have trained or helped other people to learn and acknowledge something
You are autonomous and can take initiatives but can easily report and synchronize with others
You don't mind working flexible hours. A lot of events might happen in the evenings or weekends
À propos de MakeSense
MakeSense permet à chacun d'entre nous de s'engager pour résoudre des problèmes qui le touchent : emploi, éducation, déchet, réfugies, etc. Comment ? En identifiant des solutions innovantes à ces problèmes et en formant les citoyens qui le souhaitent à les renforcer grâce à l'intelligence collective. Résultats, en 5 ans, 22 000 personnes se sont mobilisées dans 100 villes pour aider 1200 entrepreneurs sociaux.
