JOB PURPOSE:
The Dior Logistics Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization in the Logistics. By working closely with the Logistics Team, the Trainee supports the organization's short and long term objectives through day to day administrative and long term project work.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Daily data entry for all Logistics logs utilizing Excel
- Weekly and monthly extraction of reports to analyse data which include tracking information and freight and duty costs
- Retrieving and creating entry packets of customs documents for all imports weekly
- Enter and update department SOPs in pdf/ppt/doc as requested by supervisor
- Update manuals that include, HTS (Tariff Codes) US and Canada, Customs Compliance
- Updates UPS CampusShip or CVS as necessary for Corporate Address Book or boutique location/contact information
- Update Department Logistics Manuals and Forms
- UPS (boutique related) manuals
- FWS (Fish & Wildlife) Certificates
- HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule)
- US and Canada
- Trainee SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Create proformas and distribute to boutiques and 3PL on as needed basis
- Help resolving any customs missing information for imports and exports shipped by carriers such as, FedEx, UPS, Panalpina or DHL
- Work with the logistics team to process domestic and international shipments using UPS shipping interfaces; CVS and Campus Ship
- Any other administrative tasks or special projects as assigned

- Ability to prepare and follow routine administrative paperwork
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal and external groups
- Strong time management, problem solving and attention to detail skills
- Ability to multitask and show flexibility across priorities
- Strong and functional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word)
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential, controversial and sensitive nature
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public
- Driven to achieve highest quality in daily work
- Candidate must be interested in and have some knowledge of Logistics for the Fashion industry
