The Role: We are looking for a Product Data Analyst who is passionate about data and the role it can play in building experiences that delight customers and deliver business results. You'll work within the Product team, partnering with Engineering, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Design to uncover product usage insights to drive better product roadmap decisions, improved features and UX. This role is a great mix of technical, product, and data responsibilities that offers the opportunity to be a leader and help transform us into a data-driven company.

Drive a data-driven culture across the organization, helping set the direction and shape the future of our metrics and reporting Lead the team in creating a process to ensure each new project launches with proper tracking and enable the team to answer key product and business questions Work closely with other product managers and cross-functional partners to define the data needs and KPIs relevant for new product (hardware and software) introductions, how best to monitor, and present the data Act as Product Owner during product development, ensuring the data needs are met and integrity of the data pipeline Work independently and with data engineers to build reliable views of machine-generated data that serve as the foundation for product and consumer analytics Build self-service systems and dashboards to enable others in the organization to perform analysis and leverage data to make business decisions Explore data to find actionable insights and make product recommendations through funnels, cohort analyses, long-term trends, user segmentation, regression models, and more Lead and innovate in areas of data analysis and visualization
Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
3+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis, preferably for a technology company Fluency in SQL, as well as a deep understanding of statistical analysis, experiment design, and common pitfalls of data analysis Self-starter with a high degree of self-motivation, who can drive projects with little guidance Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) who can effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others Excellent creative and problem-solving skills Ability to work and lead cross-functional teams, winning credibility quickly Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide pragmatic solutions to problems
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
Experience with Tableau and/or other business intelligence and analytics tools Experience in B2C software and services, or mobile/web apps Experience in user research and A/B testing
Education:
Bachelor's degree Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields preferred MBA a plus
