Application Engineer (m/w)

Responsibilities

·  Layout, design and optimization of parts and assembly groups for external customer applications
·  Taking into account technical and economical aspects of Diesel engines during development phase and serial life
·  Realization of 3D concepts, 3D models and drawings, specifications, bill of materials
·  Contacts and communication with customers, external suppliers and internal departments concerning calculation, purchasing, quality, production, logistics and cost reduction topics

Competencies

·  Master/Diploma in Mechanical engineering
·  Minimum 3 years design experience in engine design, automotive, or comparable industry (e.g. pumps, compressors, turbines etc.)
·  Experience in design of complex components like cast parts, forged parts, fine machining, welding constructions
·  Good knowledge in Russian and English (written and oral)
·  Knowledge of French or German is appreciated
·  Experience with Creo 2 and appropriate PLM system
