Job description: You will be working in the Test Center department where automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains are built and tested. You are part of a team which is responsible for the acquisition of new test equipment. Together with all stakeholders, you define the technical specifications for the new equipment. You will discuss these specifications with suppliers.
- you assist the purchasing team in the supplier choice.
- You will follow-up the supplier during all steps of the project and organize review meetings with all stakeholders at defined milestones.
- You will define and carry out acceptance tests at the supplier and at Punch Powertrain.
- You are responsible for the follow-up of existing test equipment and for the implementation of improvements.
- You stay on top of the latest developments and market trends on powertrain test equipment.
Profile:
- You have master degree in engineering (electromechanical or mechanical).
- You have thorough knowledge and experience in the field of automotive testing and testing facilities (required 2 to 3 years). You are a self-made and hands-on type of employee.
- Thanks to your strong communication skills and good knowledge of English,
- you are excellent in teamwork and are strong in reporting knowledge and results.
- You have a structured, analytical and methodical way of working.
- You are able to organize and plan your work taking into account all boundary conditions and involving all stakeholders.
