VIE SAFETY RESPONSIBLE (H/F)

Job description

Founded in 1853, Lesaffre is an independent, family-owned group based in France, and a leading global provider of baker’s yeast and yeast extract products.
It employs over 9 500 persons on five continents and markets bakery, taste improvement, health and nutrition, fermentation and brewery products and services.
Missions:
- Performing safety audits in all the MECA factories with elaboration of report, actions plans and followings reports.
- Monthly following of the safety indicators of each entities and generation of a monthly report based on these indicators in comparison with previous year and budget.
- Participation at the safety budget preparation of each entity and safety indicators target.
- Creation of an information system between the entities in order to improve the exchanges of:
- best practices
- Information
- Follow the system of accidents/incidents information as well as related corrective actions.
- To share methods to perform risk analyses in each entities.
- To create a common safety basis in MECA: safety policy, procedures, risks evaluation
- To share the experiences and best practices safety within the region and the Group.
- Development and implementation of tools box for:
- Chemical risks
- Fall risks
- Fire
- Handling
- Mechanical risks
- PPE safety tools
- Work permits
- Animation of monthly MECA safety newsletter.
- To ensure that each entity follows the 10 Safety Fundamental Principles of the Lesaffre Group
- To develop communication tools and actions aimed at improving our safety culture.
- To develop the concept of near misses recordings and implementation of corrective actions.
- For Lesaffre Turquie, must ensure the coordination of the safety responsible of the 3 factories.
- Organization of a security meeting/year in one of the MECA factory.
Education & Experience:
- Graduated in Health & Safety
- 2-3 years previous experience in an similar role in production environment
Language:
Fluent in English
Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organized and able to meet deadlines
- Safety Certificate
