Delivery Riders Wanted

We are looking for riders to join our radical new food delivery brand Cook & Thief. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is about to take London by storm and is set to revolutionise the hospitality industry. Our first-class riders will be delivering from the best restaurants to food lovers in central London.

The food we deliver will be of the highest standard and we need our customer service to match, so we want our riders to be the best of the best. This means that they must not only be great riders, but have high-quality communication and customer service skills, good presentation, and an interest in food. The role would ideally suit existing delivery riders or couriers looking to take the next step in their career by progressing into a more exciting role or front-of-house hospitality professionals who are used to riding a motorcycle on the road.


About the job

You will be riding a fully kitted out and insured Piaggio MP3 Yourban 3-wheel bike provided and insured by us. You will pick up the bike from our premises near Wandsworth Road station (SW4 6AD), where you can park your own bike if you have one. During the shift you will be delivering amazing restaurant food to excited customers and when your shift is finished, you will return the bike to our premises.

You will be paid for the whole shift, not for individual jobs, and we expect you to commit for a regular number of shifts per week.

Paid training will be provided (payment for training to be made after 10 completed shifts).

Requirements

Essential
• Over the age of 25
• Full, clean pre-2013 category B car licence OR full, clean category A motorcycle licence
• Completed Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
• Fluent spoken English
• Presentable appearance and polite, confident manner
• Considerable experience riding a motorcycle or moped on the road and ability to control a heavy bike

Highly desirable
• Previous experience as a courier or delivery rider
• Previous customer service experience
