INCUBATION PROGRAM FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS IN HONG-KONG
INCO
INCO is looking for an autonomous, organized and enthusiastic person to manage our Hong Kong office. Our Project Manager's mission will be to develop INCO's activities in Asia as well as to oversee our incubation and skills development activities in Hong Kong.
This position is a great opportunity to work in a tech and entrepreneurship environment and join an international group in social entrepreneurship.
About INCO
INCO was created in 2010 to fund and support social enterprises in France and throughout the world. Its main goal is to help social enterprises and organizations that want to get involved in social economy by using specific and efficient tools. INCO has 4 main activities:
- Funding social enterprises, through a 100 million € impact investing fund in France
- Assessing social impact, through its tool CDI Ratings
- Supporting social entrepreneurs through incubation programs
- Promoting social entrepreneurship, through an international forum held every year in Paris: IMPACT²
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Project Manager, you will mostly focus on two distinct missions:
1. Developing INCO's activities throughout East and Southeast Asia. The Project Manager will identify and approach potential partner organizations working in the same fields in order to build new incubation and skills development programs.
2. Overseeing INCO's ongoing programs in Hong Kong (social-tech incubator and social-up youth program), in collaboration with our strategic partners (HKSTP and HKCYS. For that purpose, the Project Manager will be managing INCO's Hong Kong team.
To succeed in this role you need to be autonomous and have a real entrepreneurial spirit, as well as excellent communication skills.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in business or project management;
- Relevant practical experience in socially-driven enterprises or workforce development programs;
- Experience in managing a global budget.
Skills/Competencies
- Working proficiency in English
- Ability to problem solve and work independently, but also in team with partners
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate with people from all walks of life and from different cultures
- Ability to speak in public, facilitate workshops and good teaching skills
- Interest and knowledge in entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship
- High proficiency with IT applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Terms and conditions
- Office Location: the role will initially be based in Hong Kong Science Park, Sha Tin, 5-minute in bus from MTR University Station.
- A training period in France could be requested
