PURPOSE:

We are looking for a SAP CAR specialist for fulltime position for implementation projects within the scope of SAP CAR POSDTA and other CAR application bundle products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Provide thought leadership in SAP CAR (POSDTA, AMR, MPR and PMR) space. Should be able to provide expertise in the Omnichannel sales process leveraging CAR functionalities viz. PMR, OAA, OPP and POSDTA.
·  Engage in Roadmap development and drive future projects and possible opportunities leveraging the complete CAR application package.
·  Research to leverage the possibilities of CAR functionalities for US and China instances.
·  Engage in driving Pilot and prototypes to deliver enhanced value from SAP CAR application instance.
·  Delivery of system enhancements and implementation projects. This scope of responsibility includes, but not limited to, working in the full cycle of project delivery including documenting the business requirements, design solutions, develop functional specifications, configure, work with developers to build code, support testing and go-live.
·  SME SPOC for Steady state support for both China and US Retail operations
·  Work closely with both internal and external teams to support integration to and from SAP POSDTA centric systems.
·  Drive the success of CAR implementation by applying knowledge of POSDTA, POS Interfaces with CAR, CAR Inbound and Outbound Interfaces, Merchandising Planning for Retail (MPR), SLT Data Setup between CAR and ECC, UDF/DDF Engines in CAR, CAR RDS Setup
·  Experience integrating SAP POSDM and SAP CAR with POS systems and broader SAP solutions including BW, Forecasting and Replenishment, Promotion Management, Assortment Planning, Customer Engagement Intelligence
·  Ability to read XML data structures for retail point of sale transaction data and create SAP mapping specifications to convert the XML POS data into the necessary RFC structures for SAP POSDM. In depth understanding of ALE/IDOC processing to pass data from SAP POSDM/CAR into SAP Retail/FMS. In-depth understanding of the SAP POSDM Pipe processing module. Good Understanding of Retail and Fashion business processes
·  Engage and mentor other team members to drive the CAR functionalities within the organization
·  Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise domain knowledge with technology skills
·  Demonstrate characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge base

 

Qualifications

·  Four-year degree in Computer Science or  Information Systems or equivalent.
·  12 + years of experience in SAP POSDTA/SAP POSDM/CAR.
·  Expert level understanding of CAR on HANA Architecture is required.
·  Expert level understanding of CAR POSDTA is mandatory.           
·  Additional exposure on CAR/HANA Analytics will be preferred.
·  Any exposure to CARAB bundled products will be highly preferred(AMR, APR, MPR, PMR).
·  Should have exposure to OAA, OPP in SAP CAR.
·  Should have exposure to UDF and DDF in SAP CAR.
·  Experience in SAP Modules such as FICO, MM and SD is an added advantage.
·  Familiarity with ABAP and development process is an added advantage.
·  10 + years of SAP project implementation experience.
·  Strong understanding of specialty Retail concepts and processes.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & excellent written/oral communication skills.
·  Awareness of Architecture frameworks (Zachman/TOGAF) will be an added advantage.
