The Market Visual Manager In Training is responsible for building Visual Merchandising skill and capability within Field Leadership to deliver a consistent, branded emotional experience within their respective territory (1-2 District Managers, 3-8 stores).

This role sets the pace and enables superior execution of Visual Merchandising strategies within their assigned stores to positively impact overall business results through the use of the Visual Merchandising lever. This is accomplished through structured training efforts amongst Field Leadership and in store application. 

This is achieved through the ability to effectively gain consensus and alignment with stakeholders by building relationships, collaborating and influencing key business partners. 

This role consistently demonstrates the proven ability to develop and retain top talent.

R esponsibilities :

·  Builds a consistent, branded emotional experience in the most visible and highest performing stores
·  Build Store Leadership’s Visual Merchandising skill and capability through hands-on Floorset execution and merchandising workshops
·  Partner with Store Leadership to influence merchandising decisions, ideation and implementation
·  Actively participates in Floorset activity; shares learning’s with key business partners
·  Identify store specific opportunities to drive results through use of Visual Merchandising lever
·  Build accountability to current Visual Merchandising tools, Sets expectations relating to Visual Merchandising & brand standards within assigned stores; reinforces brand consistency
·  Identify and assess Visual talent
·  Develops and inspires Store Talent within the visual merchandising filter
·  Key Business Partners: Store Leadership Teams

Success Measures:


·  Impact on select store's financial results including plan, best @ and conversion performance
·  Partnership with and development Visual Merchandising skill and capability
·  Enhanced Visual Merchandising decision making within Store Leadership
·  Manage in-season Store Appearance budget inclusive of LBSS, marketing and visual elements
Qualifications

·  BA in Marketing, Design or Technical/Liberal arts equivalent preferred
·  3-5 years Visual Merchandising experience, 1-3 years retail management experience, including multi-store
·  Ability to leverage computer skills; familiarity with Creative Suites preferred
·  Ability to facilitate learning in both a store and classroom environment
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively Proven ability to ideate and problem solve
·  Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and remotely
·  Previous experience leading and coaching direct reports including establishing performance objectives, individual career development support and coaching for success
·  Strong organizational and analytical skills.
·  Ability to travel required
