Position Summary
The Banking Cash Management/Sales Audit Accountant at L Brands is responsible for moderately complex accounting and reconciliation activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements. They are responsible for all aspects of accounting in a specific area (such as credit cards and/or gift cards), including monthly journal entries and financial reports.
· Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Ensure that all month-end accounting is performed in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of attention to detail
· Prepare manual journal entries to the general ledger
· Reconcile and maintain expense accounts and ensure appropriate accrual each month.
· Ensure adherence to departmental standards and controls
· Maintain high level of productivity
· Comply with ethical and legal standards
· Follow up on all outstanding issues on a timely basis
· Maintain excellent customer service and vendor relations
· Assist with special projects and departmental goals
· Identify areas of opportunity/weakness and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency in a controlled environment
· Maintain financial and operational controls and procedures
· Maintain computerized systems

Education & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
· Advanced degree or CPA a plus
· One to three years accounting or related experience in Payroll, Financial Reporting, General Ledger, Sales Audit, Credit, *Cash, Import, Real Estate, Inventory Control, as appropriate
· One to three years’ experience in accounting and/or finance operations, preferably with a company with annual volume in excess of $100 million
· Experience in journal entry preparation, auditing and balance sheet reconciliation preferred
· Intermediate/Advanced PC Skills – Excel, Word and Access
· SAP experience a plus
