Location: Africa (Dakar, Abidjan, Casablanca, Cairo) or South-East Asia (Jakarta, Bengaluru)

Opportunity: Start from 0 our subsidiary and own the venture development with high level of responsibility, many challenges & initiatives to be taken and remote coordination with the central team.

Responsibilities:

- Build a MVP of a (manual) loan product for a new market and improve it with competitive benchmarks/operations feedback
- Manage the loan process from A to Z: client acquisition (digital marketing), client selection, loan disbursement, collection - give loans manually
- Build a team (Up to 5 people) to grow the volume - target: 1000 loans/month
- Interaction with high-level stakeholders (Lending licence, partnerships, …)
- General administration of the company’s subsidiary (bank, admin, office)
- Weekly detailed reporting: loan volume, loan collection, default rate

Profil recherché

Ongoing master student from a top business school/university
Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to get hands dirty at all times.
Data-driven and KPI-oriented approach to maximize the efficiency of all the operations
Willing to relocate to the country's capital city.
In love with our mission to enhance access to finance for the underbanked
Fluent in English
Previous internships in startups, consulting, or investment banking is a plus
