APPLICATIONS MANAGER - ENERGY TRADING & BACK-OFFICE

Air Liquide is the world leader in gases for industry, health and the environment, and is present in over 80 countries with 68,000 employees.
Air Liquide procures and sells through its products large amounts of energy. SEGE is an AL subsidiary which provides energy-related services to all Europe Industries Affiliates for the management of their energy exposure, including the direct sourcing and supply of energy (natural gas, power, carbon credit).
SEGE is organized as a trading desk around 3 “offices” to ensure strict segregation of duties between transaction execution and control: Front-Office, Back-Office and Middle-Office. You will be part of the Back-Office, with includes management of the Information Systems for Energy Management, reporting to the CFO. You will also be in close contact with BIS Europe, which is the European IT department.
Informations Systems are key for energy management, both for operations and for development of sourcing strategies. SEGE has designed and operates dedicated Informations Systems for Market Intelligence, Trading Portfolio and Risk Management. The billing system and the ERP are managed by BIS Europe, and dispatch systems are fully outsourced.
SEGE is a recent organization which has been successfully operating for 4 years. SEGE is preparing the next wave of developments within the company program NEOS. This is including an ambitious IT roadmap for Energy Management in Europe. You will take part to this strategic initiative.
Your mission as Applications Manager is to ensure that the IT applications for Energy Management are meeting the business requirements.
Your main responsibilities will be to administer, maintain and adapt to the business needs the SEGE’s IT applications:
● MIRAL : market intelligence platform based on Microsoft technologies (Ms Office, VBA) & Thomson Reuters technologies. Desktop application.
● PRM: Trading Portfolio and Risk Management solution, PaaS mode, hosted in a private cloud.
● BOELIE: Billing system based on Oracle Utilities. Hosted in Air Liquide European datacenter.
This is including the management of the Master Data, administration and maintenance of the interfaces between the systems (MIRAL, PRM and BOELIE), supervision of the private cloud operated by our external partner, coordination for change management with BIS Europe.
As Applications Manager, you will be fully involved in the digital transformation program launched by SEGE. In particular, you will take part to the projects planned in year 2017 for a new billing system and for implementation of a Business Intelligence solution for PRM.
Master in ** IT & Business **
Motivated by delivering IT systems supporting a business which requires high analytical capabilities, demanding data management and process automation.
VBA and/or Google Script (for process automation, no heavy development).
Business Intelligence tools experience would be a plus
Autonomous
