What we do

Our goal is to unite and empower artists of all backgrounds and help them show their creative prowess. We believe fashion is more than just clothing but wearing purpose, it's a way of saying without speaking. Kryptik is a streetwear startup label working to be perceived in an edgy, fashionable and desirable light while keeping strong ethical ties and being at the forefront of political, technical and fashionable affairs. Comparable brands include Palace, Supreme and Obey.

Your role at Kryptik will be to work alongside the founder and a small team to create digital assets (clothing designs, tech packs, social media posts, lookbooks to name a few) for the company. The focal point will be within fashion design, but we are looking for someone with an artistic edge, who’s confident in their ideas and ready to make them a reality through hard work.

Garments are expected to be conceptualised through sketches and digitised through creative software such as adobe creative suite.

Most importantly we’re looking for someone who loves streetwear and the culture surrounding it, a passion for designing streetwear garments and creative content geared towards that market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody that wants to experience the inner workings of a startup and improve their skills. Although this is an unpaid internship the successful candidate will always be monitored and if they prove themselves will be offered a full-time role and even a stake in the business.

Typical activities:

- Brainstorming designs for garments and future collections
- Designing clothing mock-ups and tech packs
- Working on the images for social media and blog posts
- Designing and editing images consistent with our theme
- Designing lookbooks
- Helping to further build up the visual language for the brand

Desired profile

Requirements

- Working knowledge of adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)
- Previous education and experience will be assessed but the main focus will be placed on the strength of
given portfolios
- A love of streetwear, street culture and fashion trends
- Good knowledge of typography
- Ability to reflect on our brand voice and culture
