About the Position

The Audit Analytics team at GDC is launching to support KPMG's US audit engagement teams with deploying KPMG's proprietary Data & Analytics tools. The team will work with our US audit clients to extract data from client ERP systems to perform automated audit procedures.

This is a new team in a start-up environment, and the role is for a Manager to be part of building and leading the Data and Analytics team at GDC. The role of the Audit Analytics team is to:

·  Process large data extracts from client ERP systems into the KPMG tool.
·  Understand ERP systems from Functional or Techno-Functional perspective since this is the data in context which KPMG's automated audit management systems deal with.
·  Equipped with Business knowledge (preferably in finance domain).
·  Audit Analytics skills are required to deal with client IT management.
·  Work with client IT management to obtain data.
·  Work with KPMG teams to discuss results from the tool, and write SQL queries on the data to pull reports as required.
·  Debugging issues during on large data set.
·  Participate in the design, development, and implement fixes and enhancements to existing modules or new modules.
·  Document processes and procedures for use by users / administrators
·  Prepare and maintain related project technical training documentation
·  Prepare functional specifications based upon internal requirements.
·  We need people who understand data from functional perspective as well as have strong or sufficient technical skills to resolve issues and process engagements. Please note that we have sorted list of skills (Refer Specific IT Experience section) which covers the need of business functions that we deal with. We will be looking at subset of those skills to match the right people who can contribute to the KPMG's automated audit management system which has diverse areas to explore from career perspective.

Candidate qualification, experience and competencies required

Educational Requirements

• Engineering (Computer Sciences) Graduate or Masters of Computer Application; or

• Chartered/Cost Accountant with ERP/ Data Analytics experience; or

• Engineering (Computer Sciences) along with MBA (Finance or Systems) (desirable)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2-12 years of post-qualification experience

• Experience with Big 4/leading Audit firms or their shared service center would be preferred

• Experience working with clients and managing stakeholders

• Experience leading teams and training/developing junior staff

• Functional / Technical design & project management skills

• Performed audit support and analytics through GITC's (General IT controls) / application control test work

• Proven technical project management skills and ability to handle stakeholder relationships in a shared services organization.

Specific IT Experience Requirements

Functional Profile:

1. Business Analyst/Functional Consultant in any ERP system (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics or others)

2. Expertise in specific business processes, such as Order to cash (SD, SD-FI integration), procure to pay (MM, MM-FI integration) and General Ledger and Sub ledger Accounting/FICO.

3. Optional modules understanding in context to financial aspects - Procurement, Materials Management/Inventory, Sales and Distribution/Order Management & Shipping, Payables, Receivables, Banking/Cash Management.

4. Knowledge of SQL (T-SQL or Oracle) is desirable.
