KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Administrative Support to join our Operations organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Manage the efficient and effective delivery of day to day administrative support services including assignments, attendance, performance management, oversight of goal setting, skill development and coaching, performance reviews, salary administration, disciplinary action and employee relations
·  Analyze areas needing process improvement and efficiencies, strategic planning, problem resolution and change management
·  Provide input, leadership and direction to the formulation of long and short term goals impacting the Administrative Assistants
·  Interact and negotiate with internal clients including partners, managers, and other administrative assistants regarding practice needs for support
·  Identify training opportunities and encourage and support personal development plan success of direct reports
·  Provide direction and implement procedures so that firm and national initiative programs are implemented and supported

Qualifications:

·  Minimum of five years of administrative or office management experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment; minimum of two years of experience leading and managing a large administrative support team
·  Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook at the advanced level
·  Ability to respond to needs, questions or problems encountered on a daily basis
·  Excellent skills related to situational assessment problem solving and negotiating; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
·  Ability to travel regularly between the Washington, DC and McLean, VA office
