Knowledge and Research Officer (m/f)

As a Knowledge and Research Officer, you will have to identify the knowledge critical to the entire organization and evaluate the dissemination process. And more precisely to :

·  Undertake research on behalf of the organization
·  Act as a single point of contact for all data requests,
·  Help others to research data retrieval,
·  Extract and manage data on relevant research from any sources using search engines, query tools and other more traditional approaches,Develop processes for capture, storage, validation and retrieval of knowledge:
·  Contribute to the design of databases,
·  Maintain effective surveillance of key websites and other sources of information,
·  Ensure that relevant material is extracted,
·  Code, enter and edit data in a variety of database formats,

·  Ensure the knowledge generated within the organization is made easily visible, available and useful to seekers
·  Manage, maintain and develop the intranet system, so that information and data are accessible to employees,
·  Ensure employees are aware of the knowledge management resources available to support their work,
·  Provide internal training and ensures they are using the systems efficiently and productively,

The perfect candidate

·  Bachelor in Information Science, Knowledge Management or related field,
·  Excellent project management and communication skills,
·  Able to source information using the web and/or web-based databases,
·  Methodical, well organized, flexible and multi-tasking,
·  Analytical thinking : ability to analyze problems or information systematically and in depth,
·  Team spirit with ability to take initiative and responsibility for work,
·  Native speaker level in English. French and German are considered as an asset.
