Job description

KPMG is currently looking for a talented, ingenious and dynamic consultant to join its Organizational Culture team in order to contribute to the implementation of employee engagement strategies and promote a work environment based on respect of people and their needs.

In collaboration with the Culture team and with the support of the Talent Attraction team, the incumbent will work closely and strategically with the leader and managers of the service line assigned to him or her in order to provide HR consulting services.

In this role, the chosen candidate will be encouraged to bring forth new ideas to contribute to the strategy of the Culture team in Quebec. The candidate will be expected to provide tools and suggest initiatives in the areas of performance management, workplace practices, rewards and recognition, retention, leadership development and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Provide information to the Business Unit on the National and Functional people priorities and partners with the Develop Leader on the creation and execution of the Business Unit's People Leader action plan.
·  Partner with HR Centers of Excellence peers and business to integrate HR services in the business unit.
·  Work with the Develop Leaders and People Leader teams to make adjustments to action plans based on how well the Business Unit is doing against their plan, and offer suggestions for changes to the Business Unit Leader and Develop Leader.
·  Provide advice and counsel to Develop Leaders and People Leader teams on Global People Survey (employee survey) results, working on implementing Business Unit action plans.
·  Provide guidance and hands on support to the business unit on implementing new and ongoing programs and processes across key HR areas such as performance development, total rewards, etc.
·  Attend termination meetings where needed and conduct exit interviews for key talent groups, presenting out data alongside employee survey, to tell the story of what changes need to be made.
·  Work with Business Unit Leader and Develop Leader to facilitate involvement and approvals for annual processes such as base pay, variable pay and performance management.

Competencies:

The successful candidate will show the following qualities:

·  Relevant university degree (Human Resources)
·  1-3 years of professional experience in HR
·  Intellectual curiosity, agility and sense of humour
·  Fluency in English and French, written and spoken
·  Superior communication skills, acumen and innovative thinking
·  Capacity to prioritize tasks for many clients to meet delivery deadlines
·  Willingness to develop their career as well as their personal leadership through fun experiences and projects
