Trainee in Data Science

Job description

You would join an international team of Data Scientists that is using the most advanced data science techniques in order to detect and serve different client needs.

The team has the objective of setting up best practices and methodologies in order to exploit value from large data sets.

The perfect candidate

·  Education: Ongoing Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or in Statistic.
·  Exposure to the following topics: clustering, linear and logistic regression, decision tree classification and regression, neural networks, dimensionality reduction, bagging, boosting, stacking and other non/parametric methods..
·  Knowledge/understanding of Calculus and Statistical Methodologies (descriptive and inferential statistics),
·  Knowledge of one of the following programming languages such as Matlab, Python, R, C++. Experience with relational database (e.g. SQL).
·  Exposure to open source data analysis platforms, including TensorFlow, Python data tools, Spark, HDFS, Kafka and other high volume data tools as well as SQL and NoSQL storage tools, such as MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB and ElasticSearch
