The role and responsibilities

A career in KPMG's Risk Advisory department provides you with hands-on opportunities to learn how to help our clients in implementing risk management frameworks, techniques & methods as well as in monitoring portfolio risk & compliance.

As a member of a multilingual team, you will be part of the service provision for our clients from the investment funds industry. Main areas of work will be operations with respect to risk and compliance monitoring as well as the analysis and review of related regulations and financial instruments.

Implementations, reviews of risk management frameworks, as well as assistance in the provision of other reporting services and the autonomous treatment of related requests may also be part of your responsibilities.

The perfect candidate

• You hold a bachelor, master or equivalent diploma degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or Business mathematics.
• You have ideally gained a first experience in risk management, regulatory and/or compliance during an internship. Practical experience in fund regulation, especially regulatory understanding with respect to UCITS investment compliance and risk management will be considered as an advantage.
• You have solid knowledge of financial instruments.
• You are not an IT expert, but you are technically affine. Programming skills will be considered as an advantage.
• You are a team player, displaying a positive and enthusiastic attitude and are able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in English. German and/or French language skills will be considered as an advantage.
