National Account Manager - Pharma/Healthcare

Job description

The National Account Manager is the lead sales person responsible for a set number of regional accounts in the Pharma/Healthcare vertical. This position also acts in a hunter role in the development of new A & B level accounts with the primary business relationships in the Midwest area.

Your tasks and responsibilities

-Lead Chemicals, Pharma and Healthcare sales to increase volume, revenue and gross profits by market research independently and together with regional team.
-Prepare and execute comprehensive sales plans to sell all products for Chemicals, Pharma and Healthcare industry
-Engage national sales management with forward looking business development plans to win new market share through new customer acquisition, support staff training and education.
-Ensure all information related to customer visits, reports, opportunities and sales activities is correctly input in KN CoreLog System
-Actively participate in lead generation and pipeline management of the global Chemicals, Pharma and Healthcare team
-Allocate time and call frequency based on A, B, C customer segmentation
-Make appropriate number of sales calls (face-to-face, telephone, etc.) on prospects versus existing customers
-Manage RFQs processes on small and large opportunities
-Conduct competitive pricing and technical content, write winning proposals
-Lead negotiations about selling rates, services offered and commercial terms
-Close deals, standardize operations in terms of SOPs, reporting, systems and initiate hand-over to operations
-Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor

Your skills and experience

-Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
-At least 3 years' experience in freight forwarding industry and Pharma/Healthcare industry
-Proactive, Initiative, good analytical, interpersonal & communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure and independently
-Strong negotiation skills and leadership skills with experience in managerial position.
