Job description

The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for the retention and development of the accounts his/her sales reps have in their book of business. Their main responsibilities are to ensure best in class customer service, Sales Support and to free up more active selling time for the sales representatives. They also handle all spot quote requests, enter them into CRM, and follow up with the customers to produce more wins.

Your tasks and responsibilities

· Maintain Existing Business Familiarize with customer portfolio of assigned Sales Executives

· Supports the Sales Executive with maintenance of existing accounts

· Liaise between customer, sales and operations

· Assist with presentations and QBRs

· Prepare Rate Quotations. Receive Rate request from existing customers or new accounts

· Gather Information from Sales & Operations. Format and send quote to client. Enter quote in CoreLog

· Follow-up on each quote in cooperation with Sales Executive and document results in CoreLog / Evaluate New Clients (in addition and in cooperation to any activities of the Sales Executive)

· Qualify new customers/opportunities using various online databases Telemarketing / Qualify Business

Your skills and experience

· Minimum of three years' experience within the freight, transportation or logistics industry.

· Experience in International Operations, i.e. Air- and/or Ocean freight or International Sales is preferred

· The ideal candidate will provide a solid PC operational knowledge related to MS Office products and Sales Force Automation tools.

· The ideal candidate should be self-disciplined and self-motivated with a strong customer focus and feeling for qualitative work.

· The candidate should possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate creativity and analytical skills.
