Kuehne + Nagel Drinks Logistics is currently looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our thriving operations in Carlisle.

Your Role

You will be a key member of our team and will ensure the service we provide to our customers is of exceptional quality. This is a multi-drop operation, permanent contract and the successful candidate will need to be physically fit to meet the demands of the role, previous experience in a similar role would be preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates with a LGV2 licence

Your Responsibilities

·  Ensuring the vehicle is loaded safely and within legislation
·  Ensuring that the goods are delivered to the customer in a safe and efficient manner and on time
·  Manually unload and deliver heavy items at each delivery point
·  Ensure all documentation is completed as per company procedure
·  Follow all housekeeping tasks as required

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Class 1 Driving Licence (Clean Driving Licence)
·  Digital Tacho card with knowledge of how to use it and Valid Driver Qualification Card (DCPC)
·  Evidence of completing records of work and documentation
·  Knowledge of vehicle weight, height, width and road restrictions, with the emphasis of economy of movement
·  Experience of checking goods on and off and obtaining proof of delivery documentation whilst ensuring security of vehicle and goods contained during transit to customer premises
·  Previous experience in a similar role and be physically fit to cope with the demands of this role and a good working knowledge of EU driving regulations and Working Time Directive Legislation
·  A hard working, positive and flexible attitude is essential and ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a pressurised environment
·  This is a multi-drop operation, and the successful candidate needs to be physically fit to meet the demands of the role
