Job description

The Distribution Service operator acts as centralized interface/helpdesk between our customers, the KN Logistics departments and the subcontracted parcel carriers.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities

·  Registration of shipments in software of KN and the different parcel carriers
·  Preparation of spot price quotations based on KN software solutions
·  Follow up of inbound and outbound parcel shipment
·  Organization of specific transports (with dedicated solutions like couriers, express, etc.)
·  Handling of customer requests
·  Permanent cooperation and communication with KN departments, customers, warehouse staff and other involved persons
·  Review of shipping setups together with Parcel Distribution Team Lead based on customer requirements
·  Elaboration of cooperation between Parcel Distribution team and Customer Service

Your skills and experience

·  Experiences in logistics or relevant industries
·  Knowledge about transport / logistics processes
·  Language skills: German and English, basic knowledge in French is an asset
·  Familiar with IT systems (MS Office etc.)
·  Soft skills: ability to work in a team, flexibility, stress-resistance , take responsibility
·  Ability to fulfil critical tasks on time, keep schedules and deadlines
