Job description

To optimize supply chain operations, our contract logistics division provides end-to-end warehousing and distribution solutions for our customers. If transportation management is your passion, and you wish to hone your business skills, this could be the ideal job for you.

Your Role

This position is responsible for managing the customer service operations Tasks. Additional responsibilities include the implementation and organization of procedures, process flow, and internal customer relations. The Supervisor will also assist Management Team with employee relation’s issues when needed. The ideal candidate has a desire to work in a modern, collaborative and diverse environment where teamwork is critical to every day success

Your Responsibilities

-Responsible for the quality of service delivered to our Customer Service Teams.
-Ensure highest Level of Operational Excellence within Kuehne + Nagel's Standards.
-Eye for detail and accuracy.
-Ability to distribute and communicate vital information internally and externally.
-Evaluating employees on a constant and regular basis.
-Helping qualified team members to pursue career opportunities within the company.
-Ensure the highest levels of productivity within the department.
-Adhere to the budget guidelines and observe/report negative deviations.

Typical scenario:
-Customer Queries (performance based/shipment specific)
-Identify and solve issues in order to maximize customer satisfaction
-Key in or encode customer orders, product movements and general warehouse management systems operations.
-Understand the customer by being aware of the different requirements.
-Schedule pickups and deliveries with transport companies and customers as required.
-Staff management issues (vacation, illness, performance management)
-Productivity based
-Financial based (financial performance by client/sub-department)
-Communication (communication of activity (generally Shipment specific) to Customer

Your Skills and Experiences

-Ideally 1-3 years of experience distribution, with particular regards to operations, administration and accounting.
-Previous leadership experience is a plus.
-An obsession with Customer Service. You won't be satisfied with anything less than perfect.
-Ability to communicate professionally via e-mail and telephone.
-Ability to communicate professionally via email and Phone
-Strong computer skills.
-Ability to learn new warehouse management and financial systems quickly.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
-Possess self-discipline, strong leadership and motivational abilities.
-In addition, ability in developing operational strategies and solutions is desired.","industry":"Logistics
