Your Role

The ideal candidate for the post shall be responsible to develop, lead and streamline operational procedures and work closely with a Sales team in Tanzania to develop the product within Rwanda.

Your Responsibilities

·  Remain as the main contact in Rwanda for all business development and commercial activities
·  Work closely with the Tanzania K+N for overall business development, in Rwanda, surrounding countries
with keen focus of Project logistics
·  Responsible for pricing and quoting any related business whether from customers or from the network
·  Coordinate efforts for the proper handling of cargo through Road Logistics departments & Land side services
out/in bound Rwanda and in transit via Rwanda
·  Assuring customers are properly served and that they are fully satisfied with the services provided,
·  Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand
requirements and opportunities for an improved operation flow of the business which will create value
·  Keep up to date with industry best practices and benchmark elements in order to incorporate into current
working standards
·  Negotiating rates and monitoring suppliers performances & ensuring quality of service and cost control

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Bachelors/First University Degree  (preferred)
·  Apprenticeship / Vocational Course (preferred)
·  A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in both Road Logistics and Sales
·  English, written and spoken fluently
·  Strong negotiating  and communication skills
·  Operations Background
·  P&L understanding
·  Good proficiency in sales systems management and reporting
