Your Role
Dealing with escalations, problem solving, department supervision. Position partially operational.
Your Responsibilities
• Supervise timely operational processes of all coordinators.
• Monitor DQ according to KNU standard
• Operational coverage during vacation and sick days.
• Key account maintenance and trouble-shooting.
• Assist Department Manager with FSL.
• Training and coaching of new and existing employees.
• Oversees coordination with shippers, consignees, truckers and airlines for the import department.
• Ensure proper setup and task allocation for staff.
• Ensure that processing of all documentation including KN invoicing, certificate of origin and import declaration, if required are properly done.
• Ensure the team follows all established procedures. Provide feedback to employees and assist them with difficult tasks.
• Act as a liaison with the customers and other KN Branches.
• Maintaining compliance with customer profiles and data requirements.
• Data quality management.
• Customer Queries (performance based/shipment specific)
• Staff management issues (vacation, illness, performance management)
• Inter-Branch communication
Your Skills and Experiences
• College Degree desirable - not required
• Minimum of five years of experience in this field
• Solid knowledge of US based Import processes and domestic and international geography
• Conflict Resolution Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good PC skills required
• Good prioritization Skills
• Foreign language a plus/not required
• Off business hours availability
