About Kering

The position of Sustainable Sourcing Specialist will be in the Sustainability Department at Kering. This department includes 15 sustainability experts comprised in two teams: the Programme Team and the Operations Team. The Sustainable Sourcing Specialist will be in the Programme Team and will help contribute to the Team's work in providing operational and technical support to Kering Brands so that they can meet their sustainability targets while designing solutions that integrate sustainability principles and attributes into products and processes. The Sustainable Sourcing Specialist reports to the Head of Sustainable Sourcing Innovation.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

The Interim Sustainable Sourcing Specialist will be have experience in corporate sustainability approaches and/or experience in sourcing and supply chains in the apparel and accessories sector. S/he will be supporting the Head of Sustainable Sourcing Innovation with project management, research into sustainable sourcing opportunities and development of materials for internal communication on sustainable sourcing projects and targets. The work will include a particular focus on sourcing of raw materials that are used as components in Brands' products (e.g. cotton, leather, wool, palstics etc.).

Specific scope of work includes:

• Contribute to the development of the Smart Sourcing program that is focused on the sustainable sourcing of key raw materials with the goal of reducing the environmental footprint of Kering and its Brands while creating business opportunities

• Help manage smart sourcing projects with external partners and experts

• Monitor and review progress on smart sourcing projects

• Support to internal work groups and internal communication on smart sourcing projects

• Research on opportunities around the smart sourcing of sustainable raw materials and sustainable manufacturing processes

• Support on management of smart sourcing budget

• Work with other specialists in Kering sustainability to explore the results of Kering's Environmental Profit and Loss Account to prioritize areas for action

Profil recherché

Competencies & Skills

• Technical expertise : ability to understand the overall vision while tracking and managing details of implementing actions

• Strong project management skills particularly in the context of supply chains

• Rigor and strong capability to monitor projects and multi-task on a day to day basis

• Strong ability to work autonomously

• Capacity to communicate sustainability goals in a business context

• Cooperative and flexible in teamwork, strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a multicultural context

• Fluent in English (written and verbal). Strong working knowledge of French and/or Italian would be greatly appreciated

• Excellent oral & written communication skills particularly in English

Knowledge & Experience



• At least a Graduate Degree or equivalent in relevant experience

• 3-5 years working experience in sustainability in business and/or supply chain operations and management

• Strong project management and budget management skills

• Experience in fashion / apparel / footwear sourcing and supply chains

• Experience in managing, internal and external relationships with a range of stakeholders

• Experience in complex organizations and/or companies
