Job description

We are currently hiring Machine Operators with strong mechanical and communication skills, who will be able to disassemble and assemble packaging related equipment. Setup, clean, changeover and inspect production equipment for proper startups. If this sounds like you, than come be part of a team that shares a can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done!

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Safety First! – From your first day, you will start training to get up to speed on following company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices. No injuries here!
· Let's Get Tidy! – You will get to know all areas of the plant as you assist with performing cleanup on production and packaging equipment to get it ready for production runs. Let's see those machines sparkle.
· I've Got Your Back! – You will be responsible for providing coverage for other employees who may be on extended work schedules, vacations, and other time off. It's a team effort!
· Measure twice and cut once! – You will be responsible for performing basic adjustments and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
· Go, Team, Go! – You will have the opportunity to establish strong partnerships with different departments across the plant and work together to ensure everything is in place.

Required:

·  High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
·  Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or a related position
·  Effective communication, interpersonal, technical, problem solving and organizational skills
·  Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above waist at a maximum of fifty pounds
Bonus Points:

·  Experience in the food manufacturing industry
·  Ability to work in a fast paced environment
