The Value Stream Production Lead (VPSL) Leads all functions of the production line across all four shifts with regards to delivering business objectives such as safety, quality, LPS, rate, and yield. Additionally, provides on shift support, leadership and guidance to other Brand lines. Adheres to all policies and procedures and supports department objectives. This role will be either day or night shift at management discretion based on business needs.

The Value Stream Production Lead will:
• Assumes responsibility for ensuring work performance of line resources to meet established goals for Compliance to all safety requirements, Product quality and Production targets.
• Utilize resources to identify systematic issues. Tracks, trends, develop and implements equipment and/or process enhancements that will improve efficiency, product yield, and equipment reliability. Provides peer leadership, coaching, coordinating, scheduling, monitoring, communicating and problem solving for all production line activities.
• Coordinates Brand administration support for all production line activities.
• Initiates and facilitates team and process enhancements.
• Coordinates teams to implement preventative maintenance activities as scheduled.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Desired profile

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; 4 year business or technical degree preferred
• A minimum of six (6) years of production, maintenance or engineering experience in a high volume manufacturing environment or similar is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of college, trade, or military training in a business or technical discipline OR equivalent industrial experience emphasizing electro-mechanical, PLC, and pneumatics is required
• Experience in a 24 hour continuous operation environment is preferred
• Green or Blue badge electrical certification is required
• Operations management experience is preferred
• Engineering experience in project management, installation and qualification is preferred
• Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the following areas are highly preferred: (Injection molding, process improvement, PLC systems, vision systems, lasers, sensors, electro/mechanical devices, robotic/servo systems, safety devices, equipment installation and electro-mechanical devices)
• Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks is required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
• Experience with Personal Computer, Microsoft Office products and software is required.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, on a regular basis is required
• This position is located in Jacksonville, FL, and will required up to 5% of travel both domestically and internationally
