This segment is comprised of our Global Medical Solutions, Global Orthopaedics and Global Surgery Groups.

Tax and Statutory Specialist
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Full time permanent contract

We are looking for experienced Tax Specialist based in Hungary who is looking for expanding his/her skills and experience in the area of taxes, statutory reporting as well as US GAAP reporting. We are looking for you if you would like to be responsible not only for Hungarian tax but also for some other countries in region – Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria or Serbia. We require previous experience in the are of taxes and in return we are ready to make your grow and build your career in Johnson&Johnson!

Responsibilities
· Preparation of corporate income tax return for Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Serbia – you will be responsible for only some of those countries
· You will work in cooperation with external tax advisors and you will manage also timely submission within statutory deadlines.
· Preparation of statutory accounts for mentioned countries (bridge from US GAAP to Local GAAP) as well as statutory reporting
· VAT reporting for your assigned countries
· Ongoing assistance with the US tax reporting processes including liaison with finance and Corporate Headquarters, making sure all deadlines are met and accuracy of reporting is maintained
· Tax accounting and preparation of year-end tax disclosures for both local and US GAAP reporting purposes
· Close interaction with finance colleagues from Johnson & Johnson all over the world as necessary as well as external auditors and tax authorities

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  2-3 years of work experience in the area of taxes from consultancy or international company
·  Fluent Hungarian and English spoken and written is required
·  Good working knowledge of local GAAP/IFRS and knowledge/willingness to learn some US GAAP/US Tax
·  Accountancy qualification or registered certified accountant is a plus
·  Ability to deliver results under pressure
·  Able to manage workload and prioritize to ensure that all deadlines are met on time
·  Strong communication skills
·  Ability to communicate complex issues to non-tax professionals and to make recommendations
·  Fluency in one of those languages is a plus but not required: Romanian, Slovenian, Croatian, Bulgarian or Serbian
