Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting Software Developers to be part of a fast-paced, innovative, and highly visible teams building web and mobile software within the Healthcare Technology Center. The position will be located in Providence, RI.

As a Software Developer you will play a key role in developing Johnson & Johnson's Digital Experience across brands, electronic media, and software delivery channels.

Your key responsibilities will include roles in software design, requirements analysis, investigation of new technologies, testing and software development. The software developer should ideally be familiar with object-oriented programming principles and/or agile software development practices. He/she should have some experience or exposure to digital technologies: web/internet, PHP, Java, XML/xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/JSON API consumption, API platforms, and/or database systems.

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  Experience with or visibility to frontend, backend, internet, web or database software development is preferred.
·  Broad technical programming experience desired but not required.
·  Experience working in an agile team and the ability to collaborate is strongly preferred.
·  Experience with object-oriented development is a plus.
·  Experience with PHP, Java, JavaScript, HMTL5, and CSS3 is an asset
·  Experience with open source repositories (git) is a plus.
·  Proficiency in unit and functional testing is an asset
·  Experience with jQuery, Backbone, Angular, REACT and node.js is nice to have
·  Experience with iOS and/or Android development is a desired skillset
·  Experience with API design and development including RESTful API design is a plus.
·  Working with Test/Business Driven Development would be nice to have IND 4
