As the Logistics Associate II, you are responsible for transporting medical device instruments and implants to and from hospitals and surgical centers. You are also responsible for providing constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the achievement of Field Logistics objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure on time delivery and pickup of medical devices
• You may also be required to re-assemble kits at point of pick up in the hospital
• Follow daily instructions provided by supervisor by adhering to planned routes
• Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Deliver and pickup devices in hospital/surgical center designated staging areas
• Provide a high degree of customer service through interactions with sales consultants and healthcare employees
• Perform warehouse support, to include receiving, inspection, replenishment, tracking and reporting on all field requests related to loaner equipment
• Execute all safety policies, rules and regulations
• Maintain equipment and materials in a safe, neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
• Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately upon discovery to Supervisor/Safety Coordinator
• Collaborate with team members and contribute positively to the morale of the team
• Demonstrate flexibility/sense of urgency, taking direction and accomplishing tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Produce according to established goals and standards

Desired profile

Qualifications
• A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years work experience required
• High-volume Logistics operations experience preferred
• Requires basic computer skills; WMS or Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Ability to use all job-related equipment including operation of motor vehicle is required
• Excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to do simple math, count accurately, read and write legibly
• Requires ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, stand and/or walk on concrete floors, bend/twist/squat; sit for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks and work in ambient (hot/cold) conditions
• Experience following policies, SOPs, regulations and legal requirements required
• Required to work the operational hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and must be willing to work overtime according to business needs
• Location & Travel Required: Role is based in Tucson, AZ and requires 75% local travel primarily within the Tucson & southern Arizona territory, with up to 10% other domestic travel
