The candidate will join the Immuno-Oncology discovery team to assist with target validation and evaluation of small and large molecule immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer. S/he will work as part of a team driving research programs across the different stages of pre-clinical drug discovery. His/her responsibilities include the design, execution and interpretation of studies for the development of novel therapeutic agents. The scientist will collaborate with colleagues across multiple departments and communicate scientific results to multidisciplinary teams.

Additional responsibilities include:
· 
Work within Immuno-Oncology drug discovery team to execute in vitro and ex vivo experiments

· 
Analysis of complex data sets, maintenance of electronic notebook records, present data in professional 'publication ready' in internal meetings

· 
Work with minimal supervision independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

· 
Possess intrapersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders from all relevant functions

· 
Keep up-to-date with the literature related to his/her field.

· 
Demonstrate clear and professional verbal and written communication

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  B.A./B.S. with at least 2 years research experience OR a M.S. with at least 1 year research experience is required
·  Multi-colored flow cytometry techniques and analysis is required
·  Assay development and analyses of cell-based immunoassays is required
·  Experience performing cell biology assays - ELISA, MSD, immune cell isolation from whole blood or tissues, cell culture, transfection and cloning of stable cell lines, and other functional assays, etc. are preferred
·  Experience with basic cell purification techniques and/or immunological phenotyping procedures from blood, ex vivo human and preclinical model tissues is required
·  Experience with basic aseptic cell culture technique, such as maintaining cell lines and primary cells, cell banking, etc is required
·  A background in cancer biology and/or Immunology is preferred
