What this opportunity involves:

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and energetic Marina Attendant to be the public face of a premium boat storage facility, located in Rozelle Bay!

For this role we need a friendly and professional people person – someone who can liaise with and build rapport with all levels of the organisation and the public, with excellent customer service being key!

This is a busy and hands on role, and your duties will include, but aren’t limited to;

·  Respond to requests for dock-side assistance from boat owners and their nominated crews as well as answering phones and taking and forwarding messages, as well as general office management and welcoming guests and clients
·  Conduct the ordinary tasks such as the marina daily inspections and carries out general repairs & maintenance
·  Report back to the supervisor or marina manager on any issues and participate in regular safety talks and team meetings.
·  Take responsibility of EH&S, assist facilities team with contractor management, and maintain premises in a neat and working condition at all times
·  Assisting Yacht crew with day to day service requirements such as berthing assistance.
·  Operation of plant and equipment such as the marina's work-boat, vacuum waste pumps and forklift.
·  Handling basic sales enquiries and office administrative tasks.

·  Have a keen interest or experience in boating and some knowledge of Sydney Harbour
·  Have previously worked in a marina, worked on-board a superyacht or worked in hospitality where you applied a high level of customer service
·  Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·  Have the ability to prioritise and work unsupervised
·  Hold a valid general boating licence
·  Are a team player with an assertive mindset and strong ethics
