JLL is seeking a Mechanic to join our team in East Syracuse NY! This opportunity will support our major global pharmaceutical client.

•This position has a strong focus on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on allsystems. A very high percentage of 'wrench time' is expected. Individuals are expected to demonstratecarpentry, plumbing, sheet metal, sheetrock, maintenance & troubleshooting.

•Patch and paint office, outside and controlled work environments.

•Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces.

•Maintain locking mechanisms, closers and doors.

•Perform general roofing repairs.

•Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves,water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps.

•This position requires the ability to analyze the operation of the various systems, determine the cause ofany problem / malfunctions and takes corrective action as required.

•Successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments. The individual in this role must be available forCall-in work and perform other duties as required. This position will also have responsibilities at multiplebuildings. Some overtime is to be expected.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance and Operations

•Oversees operation, repair, P.M. and install new piping and valves relating to plumbing systems.

•Performs preventive maintenance on all base building and critical system equipment which includes butnot limited to: Eye wash/safety shower stations, containments and fire extingushers. Responsible for assembling all tools, supplies and instruments necessary to complete the job, performing work with a minimum amount disruption, conducting immediate cleanup of work area, completing the preventive task sheet, returning tools to workshop, and unused supplies to store room, reporting any equipment problems, impending supply or material shortages to the Manager.Understands the engineering design and operational aspects of the building and critical support systems and components. Must be able to immediately recognize system shortcomings, troubleshoot and respond to operational and emergency situations

•Checks malfunctioning equipment and ascertains corrective action required to restore to satisfactoryoperating condition.

•Cross train back up, or others, as appropriate to the advanced level
