Poste et missions:
Financial Analysis:
o Preparation of and presentation of business plans and financial reports which involves the collating of information from different stakeholders
o Advanced Financial modelling skills and capable to prepare modules/models in Excel or any other software to support different processes in the business
o Analysis of profitability and business plans
o Create financial models for in country business development including providing of support
o Plan and co-ordinate the budget process in-country
Financial Accounting:
o Working capital management (including treasury forecasts) preparation and analysis together with in-country Finance Manager
o Assist Finance manager in the preparation of the Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet. Assist the Finance Manager in monthly closing activity to ensure closing on a timely basis
o Month-end reporting and any other reporting requirements towards head office in Plaisir through Saphir application (for consolidation purposes);
o Assisting the finance manager in the preparation of internal reporting to regional head office
Profil:
- A minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- A CFA and or CIMA qualification is an advantage
- At least three year’s relevant accounting and financial analyst experience
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
- Comprehensive analytical skills with attention to details and accuracy is a must
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting and profitability analysis
- Experience in dealing with African countries is certainly an advantage
- Experience in dealing with foreign currencies
- Understanding and up to date with regulatory requirements for financial reporting (including IFRSs) is an advantage
- Experience with accounting software (input)
- Advanced computer skills especially in Excel is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
