J.P. Morgan Chase Bank (JPMCB) Paris, through its affiliate, J. P. Morgan Courtage SAS (Courtage) offers insurance mediation services (unit linked and fond general) in addition to providing administrative support of life insurance policies. Through JPMCB Paris, we also offer investment management and credit services.

Based in Paris, reporting to GWM France COO / Dotted Line to JPM Courtage Chairman, the role consists in provide business management support through the 3 following areas:

JPM Courtage Business Management

Financials: work closely with Finance to reinforce Financials oversight (flows, fees, revenues) and enhance existing processes:
- Life Insurance Assets under supervision with data quality check of insurance data uploads/consistency with client static data
- Consistency check between Life Insurance assets and flows
- Control of fees Integration of commissions files /reconciliation with expected revenues
- Monthly declaration to Finance department of the details of the revenues
- Other

Project management:
- Suitability: support for upgrading the current mediation framework and its related control framework
- Client segmentation: Support Business head for the sale of some non strategic policies
- Other

Governance:
- Forums: Support to the current governance (Business Control Committees / Management Committees)
- Support Life Insurance Specialist / GWM France COO in the coordination of control functions (Compliance / Risk / Oversight & Control / Supervisory Management…)

Technology Infrastructure:
- ICAR insurance database (Main operating g infrastructure) tactical remediation
- File transfers with Life Insurance Companies
- Formalization of technical business requirements
- Review of the technical process end to end
- Monitoring of life insurance external websites


Life Insurance product management

Life Insurance Company relationship management: manage day to day issues/ questions (with all partners in coordination with the life insurance specialist)

Project Management:
- Operating Model: Enhance current operating model and formalize agreements with each life insurance company.
- Custody model: review and assess current limit / Risk of custody model. Implement any strategic decision (exit/…)
- Other

Life Insurance Business Analysis

Business Head support: provide Business Head with support/analysis:
- New business opportunities
- Development and implementation
- Strategic planning process
- Platform & offer Streamlining
- Annual due diligence review, Request For Proposal process
- Strategic presentations: Co Courtage review
- Other

Project management: contribution to projects and active participation on JPM Courtage Enhancements.

Profil recherché

Qualifications & experience

• Level of experience: Senior Associate / Junior VP
• Previous experience in the Finance industry, preferably in Private Banking and/or Insurance ( 3 to 5 years ) and particularly in Business Management & Projects
• Very good knowledge in Project Management (cost, resources, timeliness)
• Attention to detail with a strong sense of risk management
• Strong communication and execution skills
• Analytical expertise
• Adaptability and able to pick up concepts quickly
• Self-starter, able to work independently and within a team
• This position may imply travelling and a potential relocation to London at a later stage
