Overview of Role:

Serve as the subject matter expert to Financial Advisors and Chase Private Client Advisors to prepare them for client conversations regarding financial planning, retirement planning, and wealth transfer strategies.

·  Serve as resource to Advisors and their clients regarding their financial planning and retirement planning needs as well as more complex trust and wealth transfer strategies.
·  Serve as the national resource in support of the JPMorgan Customized Financial Analysis and other modeling tools.
·  Assist Advisors with identifying needs for retirement planning, financial planning and wealth transfer strategies as a way of deepening their client relationships and growing the share of wallet.
·  Support the sales efforts with larger more complex client situations where financial planning, estate planning or wealth transfer strategies are a critical component of the relationship.
·  Support and participate in ongoing training and education for Advisors to allow them to provide broader more robust planning advice to their clients and prospects.
·  Assist with the development of marketing materials and advice based content to help with client and prospect ongoing communication and education.

Desired profile

Qualifications:

·  Strong knowledge of financial planning, retirement planning, gifting techniques and wealth transfer strategies and the ability to apply that knowledge to client specific situations.
·  Ability to evaluate retirement needs and issues of clients and prospects, identify which of the available strategies are appropriate, educate clients and work with clients and their professional advisors to determine which recommendations to implement
·  Ability to communicate common as well as more sophisticated wealth planning concepts to all levels of clients and prospects
·  Sales experience including: profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
·  Demonstrated understanding of wealth management including, but not limited to: retirement and investment management, as well as banking
·  Ability to work in a team based environment and assist in the development of the Advisors.

Requirements:

·  3-5 years financial planning experience
·  Bachelor's degree required
·  Certified Financial Planning designation strongly preferred
·  State Insurance license
·  Series 7 and 66
