The Product Manager supports the R&D Product Managers and Software Developers. S/he helps manage the release process by facilitating workload split between team members and providing progress reports to the manager. S/he helps the team focus on their work by being the main interlocutor for external communication. S/he works closely with product managers to ensure test plans, test scripts and other testing related documents are delivered on time to the Release Management Team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Essential Job Functions
- Assist Solution Owner and Product Manager in defining the demo stories for new functionalities and enhancements
- Write functional test scripts based on the user story
- Assist technical team during enhancements realization
- Facilitate the communication between the different roles
- Produce progress report to make sure the team in on track with the schedule
- Control quality of deliverable (new features and associated documentation) by
- Control incoming bug reports and requests for product improvement, reproduce and qualify the request
- Performing other duties as assigned
Required:
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Clear communicator (written and verbal) – to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs to end-users, developers and product managers
- Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
- Good judgment skills
- Leadership
- Workflow configuration
- The ability to work in a team and as an individual
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Preferred:
- Knowledge of SQL
- Scrum Master certified
