Job Description

This position is a Technical Presales Engineer covering the top customers and projects in the field of High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence in France. It is a commissioned Technical Field Sales role.

Scope of Work

The primary responsibility for this position will be to act as the primary Technical Owner on the Top French HPC and AI Projects, working in tight collaboration with Account Executive(s) to deliver Deal Wins at the major HPC customers.

The successful candidate will also be in charge of:

• Developing technical collaborations with his/her customers in order to demonstrate the benefits of the Intel technologies within their own environment and with their own workloads.
• Providing regularly long range guidance and visibility over future HPC-related Intel Products/Technologies to the customers in order to influence the RFPs and allow the customers to align their deployments to our product cycles.
• Occasionally delivering hands-on workshops or seminars to provide the necessary positioning and demonstration of the benefits of Intel technologies to the wider community.
• Establishing a collaborative working relationship with Senior Architects and Engineers from our Business Units and our Industry partners.

  Upon joining Intel, we will provide the new hire with the necessary training, coaching & mentoring to get up to speed with the knowledge of products, technologies and tools.

Qualifications

Skills/Experience

Required

• A bachelor degree (or equivalent) preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum 1 year (or equivalent) of relevant work experience in code tuning and software optimization for High Performance Computing
• Some familiarity with the setup/deployment of Linux based HPC Clusters and common performance benchmarks
• Software Development Experience (C/C++, Fortran, MPI Libraries)
• Good presentation & communication skills
• Fluency in French and English languages
• Occasional Travel in Europe or in the USA may also be required.

Preferred

• Master Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering (equivalent professional experience will also be accepted)
• Some exposure/familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning Frameworks will be a strong plus.
